Walk-In Care
For when it can't wait for a booked appointment
We do our best to fit same-day concerns in, based on availability. Calling ahead helps us plan for you, though you're welcome to check in person too.
Availability & Booking
Same-day visits are offered when space allows. Calling ahead is recommended, but walking in is fine too.
What to Bring
Same as any visit: photo ID, your Alberta Health Card, and a list of current medications.
Check-In Process
Let our front desk know you're a same-day visit on arrival. Scheduled patients are seen first.
Wait Times
Wait times vary by day and how busy the schedule is — thank you for your patience.
If this is a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Same-day care at Medimax is for non-urgent concerns only.

We're Happy to Walk You Through It
Quick question? Check our FAQ. Something specific to you? Get in touch — we'd rather you ask before your visit than wonder during it. (The contact form isn't for personal health details — call us directly for anything medical.)
